Set in a beautiful Grade II listed 19th-century country house, surrounded by 42 acres of woodland, farmland and gardens with stunning views towards the River Severn and wales, is this gem. Hawkwood is an arts and educational charity providing courses, training and venue hire.
It is a sustainably run estate and as a charity brings together people and organisations from diverse backgrounds in support of creativity and community. Take a look on the website or follow the college on Instagram to sign up to an incredible range of online events that have included ‘Signs, Planets and Aspects’ and ‘Climate Lab’. There is also a regular range of online courses available from ‘The Quantum Leader’ to ‘Japanese embroidery’.
Hawkwood also hosts the Seed Festival, in partnership with Seed Idea, that offers over 100 contributors with workshops, activities and exhibitions celebrating and protecting our environment, central to the ethos of Hawkwood with its onsite biodynamic farm and natural spring; making it the perfect location for planting great ideas with past line ups including BBC’s Bruce Parry and Seize the Day’s Shannon Smy.
