Innovation fires our rockers this month, at the same time as we launch Innovation Rocks, a brand new showcase on June 10 for innovative Cotswold entrepreneurs looking for investment to grow their business.
This month our Rockers are:
- A company with a passion for mixing sport with technology
- The UK’s fastest-growing car brand
- A creative manufacturer making award ceremonies special
- Amazing waterless soap, perfect for the summer festival season, more seriously – helping the NHS too
- A brand new revitalising drink, now rolling out nationwide
Affordable action cameras and sports accessories using technology sourced and developed by Chilli-Tech. Based near Moreton-in-Marsh, Chilli-Tech works with Pro Athletes launching sports technology and outdoor products direct to consumers, cutting out the middle-men. Started by sports and technology-loving Paul Bradley and if he won’t use it, Chilli-Tech doesn’t sell it.
Mitsubishi Motors
The UK’s fastest-growing car brand for the last three years that looks set for another record year in 2016. Cirencester is the company’s UK headquarters, and it is reporting exponential sales of the Outlander plug in hybrid electrical vehicle (PHEV).
Gaudio
Tewkesbury-based Gaudio makes some of the UK’s most iconic awards: Beautiful designs that sit on the mantelpieces of global achievers. From Masterchef, the Pride of Britain Awards, BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, even some of the Formula 1 motor-racing series.
Waterless
Amazing shampoo and soap that doesn’t need water. Invented in the Cotswolds and manufactured in the UK. A liquid, not a powder that doesn’t leave a sticky residue, is kind and gentle to the skin. Keep clean and party on. Perfect for the 2016 festival season.
Overhang
Based on an old family recipe, Overhang is a brand new soft drink launched by a Cheltenham father and son team. With orange, ginger and lime, along with other
ingredients including milk thistle, burdock and botanicals, this revitalising drink is going down a storm. Now available in Holland and Barrett stores UK-wide.
