What a way to spend a summer night.

Gloucester Services are simply the best new motorway services in the country, offering fabulous food, largely sustainably and locally sourced, all helping to creating sustainable income which goes back into the local communities.

Footgolf at Brickhampton – golf with bigger balls
Want to try something new and exciting? Brickhampton Court Golf Complex is the only golf club in Gloucestershire to offer the new sport of Footgolf. Players kick a football into a large hole in as few shots as possible. It’s played on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 1pm at Brickhampton. With a maximum of 6 players it’s ideal for friends, families or even kids parties. Apparently there is a national foot golf association? Who knew? Not me, that’s for sure. I think I’d probably only succeed if I could play golf, using the bigger holes dug for footballs. Think golf, but without the clubs and with bigger balls. It came from the Netherlands in 2009. Says it all.
